Corrosion protection

Our factory has its own painting department, which gives the tanks the desired surface treatment inside and out.
The outside of the tanks is usually painted at least in corrosion class C3M.
We also offer systems in higher corrosion classes - download the pdf below for more information on corrosion protection:

If the exterior coating does not suit the installation environment, the life of the coating and ultimately the tank will be shorter than expected. ISO12944 is the industry standard for corrosion protection of steel structures using protective paint systems. ISO12944:2018 is designed to provide guidance on the application of coatings to steel. The standard defines the environment in which the steel structure (tank) is to be installed and, based on this environment, defines a corrosion category. The various paint manufacturers then build a system that suits each category.

In other words: you need to define the installation environment to define the external coating for your tank. Below you will find a table to help you choose the correct corrosion category for your next CGH tank.
